The Christmas period is a difficult time for struggling families as presents need to be brought, hams need to be purchased, children need to be kept busy over the summer, etc…  It is alarming how quickly a happy holiday can turn into a time of turmoil for so many families.

Recent figures show that more and more families are seeking support, emergency relief and assistance as the effort to simply keep food on the table becomes somewhat increasingly complicated.
