Midlas has implemented an emergency relief process which includes a client assessment by advocates from any of the Midlas services. Midlas does not hold emergency relief appointments, you must be seeking assistance through one of our core services to receive emergency relief assistance.
Midlas’ staff provide options, advocacy, information, education and support for individuals seeking emergency relief in an attempt to ensure that a long term sustainable solution is established and the crisis is prevented from occurring again. Support such as food, pharmacy and travel vouchers, rent assistance, swags, blankets and back to school packs and Christmas hampers can be used to support and assist people experiencing crisis.
