Information Communication Technology is a principal form of communication to empower people in today’s virtual world. YouTube videos, social media sites and the internet in general provide opportunities to upload share and externalise knowledge and information.
The virtual medium offers 24 x 7 access to anyone with an internet connection every single day of the year. Information availability is no longer restricted to the ordinary business hours of 9am – 5pm and suddenly becomes available on weekends.
This brings with it a host of immediately obvious benefits as weekends and spare time after work are often the allocated segments of the week that many people devote to problem solving, especially for the youth who may be relatively new to time management as well as individuals unable to afford any number of days off work during the week in order to attend a host of meetings, interviews and appointments.
