Restrictions & Obligations;
MIDLAS works under a set of policy and procedures in relation to our capacity to provide suitable services for the community. Some restrictions and obligations include;·         The number of current files open and the capacity of legal staff to address additional matters.·         The merit of each individual case and the necessity (or not) of taking the matter on.·         The capacity of individuals to fund their own legal representation/matter.·         MIDLAS cannot act for a client where we have a conflict of interest.·         Clients have an obligation to provide all relevant information so that any legal advice is complete and takes into account all relevant circumstances.·         Clients have an obligation to immediately alert us if their circumstances change.
