Midlas are offering a rewarding opportunity for a tenancy advocate who is seeking the combination of job satisfaction and an organisation with a highly positive, supportive culture. The key responsibilities of this role include providing assistance to people experiencing residential tenancy issues and delivering and monitoring the effectiveness of targeted community education on issues relating to tenants rights and responsibilities in the North East metro and Hills region.

Midlas is a non-for-profit organisation based in Midland promoting independence, strength and wellbeing in our community through support, advocacy and education.  Our services include Financial Counselling, Tenancy Advocacy, Disability Advocacy, Domestic Violence Legal Service and Family Law and Emergency Relief.

The ideal candidate will be confident in addressing people from a diverse range of backgrounds and have excellent interpersonal and client centred advocacy skills. They will also have knowledge and experience of the Residential Tenancies Act (1987) and have  relevant experience in the service area and/or community services.
